Wow, I really need to practice more anatomy sculpting. especially the head. Tried sculpting a head couple days ago and man i couldn't get the basic shape right. Love your work!
Just get a sketchbook and a pen, dude. It costs several orders of magnitude less and you don't have to deal with silly tracking problems. You only need one or two implements to practice drawing on the go.
Had a bit of time away from study today, decided to have another crack at the strange rock spyre. I need to practice my sculpting more- everything always look too mushy :S
Hey ya'll.. I'm their instructor. This isn't a practice on design of the gun but more on if they can follow a concept provided by me. Its a modeling exercise, not a gun design project :P. They can't change anything, it is set in stone :)
Thanks heaps for the reply man, I suppose i'm even too beginner for that work flow so the best bet is just to keep practicing everything until I get to the point of understanding what is required.

Unity and Unreal seem to have similar VR capabalities so one is not really better than the other. There are other best practices, no camera movement, no forced movement and make UI physically floating items in space.
Speed paints and value practices Painted balthier because I'm having a hard time modelling his face. If I can't model it, I try to work it out in 2D, which usually helps alot.
Tip: Also ensure your're mainly referencing material authored by working professionals when self learning online, which to that end you're more than likely be exposed too current industry practices and workflows.
