It's been kinda hard to paint those in T_T. And this is with the Sharpen filter from Marmoset applied.
Thanks man, I appreciate all the feedback I def will keep the arms in mind. I usually do Environment Art and Hard surface modeling. I love Sketching and drawing creatures and recently started using Zbrush as a design tool. Again, thanks for the feedback.
Hm, this does look like very shooting centric,which i don't think is what made GITS SAC so great. Man, i'd kill for some proper, deep GITS SAC style RPG, maybe something like Deus ex HR....
damn I installed it this morning, the server browser froze up on me twice. The one time it actually showed some servers they all had zero ping. Well, guess I'll reboot and try again. Had to ctrl-alt-del out of it both times.
The whole legs and the upper arms def need some lovin. Proportions look alright, though I do not see how he can see out of the helmet. If it is for a high poly mesh, just detail it a bit more. Generally, looking very good though!
Yeah it's all pre rendered stuff, but wonderful looking nonetheless. Mistwalker (I think those are the devs) said when they announced the project that it was going to be all pre rendered to produce a look you don't normally see on ds. I think they pulled it off nicely.
What GoK said. I don't know how many game devs are in that part of Canada, but I'd say consider moving anyways, move to wherever the pickings are best dude, you need to cut the strings holding you back and jump headlong into your dream.
