I really can't stress how awesome this is for image browsing on websites like Flickr or Google Images! Just... WOW. www.piclens.com install it to your favourite browser, click the blue PLAY sign (top right of your browser) and go. Just.. go.
If you must label your work (it's not a bad idea in itself), please put it in the corner and shrink it by 75%. This can't be stressed enough - you could probably save this level if you just improve the lighting.
Thanks guys. I'll revisit this and add some more grime.. and try my luck with marmoset later. I had a ton of fun with this piece even though the deadlines were pretty scrict and stressful.
Here are the wires and maps, I could have optimized the UVs a little more but didn't stress over it since I really just wanted to practice texturing. AO/Normal/Wires: Diffuse: Spec:
Just looked at the post from start to finish, Great improvements. Seems to be alot of stressed wood, Why not peel up a couple pieces make it look splintered! just my opinion strong work.
Sometimes companies can offer art tests designed to be impossible just to see how you cope with stress and tight deadlines, and whatever quality (if any) you can manage under those conditions.
A lot of the previous images really dont look feasible in terms of scope. I would highly stress something that could hypothetically be completed in the modeling stage by week 2. And forces modularity and repeatable textures
Mood is a big player in this one. Because right now, it's finals time at school, and I'm so stressed that I just want to listen to softer stuff. So it's a lot of Electronica and progressive rock bands.
Cheers. Should be taking him into zbrush soon to adjust current details and add in the micro stuff, make the burns better and things. Releaved some stress by hacking more crap out of him today.
