Hello, I'm Zilk. I've been with Max for many years now but I'm trying to make amends with Maya after giving her the cold shoulder for almost 3 years. I'm dominantly a 3D modeler and texture artist and as such, I want to know the shelf must-haves. I've been going through tutorials on Youtube as to what other people have put…
I will absolutely look into doing clear-coat when I try to optimize this down. Thanks for the replies! I am back with an update. I spent most of yesterday refactoring my previous result, with a refocus on pushing PBR and trusting it over curating a certain look. I also dug an old reflector out of the garage and studied it,…

It comes with a 2048 diffuse map and a second packed mask texture. The size might seem large for 2012 but given that it was standard practice to give…

Real-world cameras have barrel distortion and other artifacts that most 3d cameras don't have (unless you put a ton of effort into it).
Hey everyone! I'm ABR, a self-taught 3D artist about 4 months into learning Blender with roughly 1 month of actual sculpting experience. This is my first major project and I'd love any feedback or critique from people more experienced than me. A bit about me: I'm actually more of a topology person than a sculptor — which…
It might be sort of redundant by now, but i'm gonna echo everyone else anyways. Resident evil zero, resident evil remake and resident evil 4. Absolute must-haves. You also need the wind waker, as its one of the most beautiful games i've ever seen. (and a testiment to the fact that high-rez textures and bump maps does not…
