Just a little environment i've been working on. Any critiques would be appreciated. I've used the UE3 editor in the past, but this is the first time using UDK. It's basically the same I rekon. I think i might be going overboard with the foggy fx and light beams etc.
Hey guys, maybe somebody can help me. I'm playing with UDK Cascade and did some FX. They show up in the cascade window, where i can work on them and move like I want. But as I throw them into the level, they are not there not in Game mode not if I play it. I've also rebuilt lightning. Thank you!
On the Art side Firaxis is hiring for the following positions: Modeler (both organic and technical) UI Artist FX Artist It's a cool project! to learn more you'd have to be in office for interview and sign an NDA If interested please forward me your portfolio and if you have one, your linked in profile. Thanks Andy…
I'm in the market for a cintiq for my desktop, I have one at work, and its proved really useful for doing organic effects, and 2d flash fx. I was wondering if anyone has bought used ones in the past on ebay or craigslist. Or since it was a big investment you bought new instead, less of a risk.
I was mainly referring about a few tutorials where people said they were using huge graph for real time fx from SD in UE4. But anyway the main point is that there is a clear misleading trend on many website and video channels.
Looking good! I think you've lost a bit of the roundness that is in the concept. Are you planning on doing some FX? Fog and maybe even a vector field sucking into the cone would be dope and very quickly achievable. Good work!
Awesome work on these materials! Let me make attachments for you until you get the rights. Will you share how you tackled these materials? Did you use any external shader editors like FX Composer? :D
that paintover should make it very obvious that your scene needs balance, and that something great can come out of it! follow it closely and you'll learn a lot. you could possibly pull all that off just with post-process fx.
A recent Sonic the Hedgehog work I did. Here is the work progression. The sketch The coloring and shading were done simultaneously. Bubble details added Background and countdown FX Underwater effects
Yo this looks great! I've seen a lot of people do this concept, but your rendition really stands out. The FX is especially nice, and your materials are reading very well too.
