http://www.3dandmore.com/ Wanted to post my site and get some feedback on what I can do to improve it. For the past 2 years I have been doing Computer based training so there is a lot of industrial stuff. Before that I was doing digital FX and Charter Animation so there is some of that as well.
please disregard the first few posts....that problem was solved. what i'm wondering is...is there some way to hack in an opacity and color spec tab to this fx shader? i really like how things look in the viewport so far, but i only see diff, norm, spec, and trans here. any ideers?

Visually, this is looking really good. That creature might be the best I've seen in a video game to date. The damage fx (burned skin, bones showing through, etc) is great.
I know a lot of people create multiple frame explosions and textures for smoke and fx using max particles or maya fluids etc and then apply that to particles as textures in games.
To clarify a couple of this: We are currently working on a 3D game in Unity and have plenty of coders so you won't need to know any of that! :) Also, we are good on Sound/FX - still need plenty of 3D artists, though!
