Mesh Parts for character. Nothing too complicated, just need advice
I'm a little unsure of how to proceed with my retopo. My character is wearing a trench coat and I'm not sure If I should make the upper body and trench coat one object, separate from the pants and boots. I'm not sure how this kind of stuff goes. -

Use whatever app you like. Get comfortable with the others so you can use them if its needed. Maya is a Metric wrench. Max is a standard wrench. They both do the same thing, it just depends on what you're working on as to which one you use. -

Dan! - that was significantly later in the war, in an area that had seen heavy aerial bombardment by the B-17s of the 8th Air Force in a way the French countryside never did. Taking it that far wouldn't be quite accurate, if he's aiming for historical accuracy... Maybe somewhere in the middle? -
