Looking great mate, Finished wiring and cables seem to stand up! Was the colour map a render to texture based on what you saw in the concept or have you made many changes to hoe the materials are distributed? Colour map really reminds me of the VW Polo harlequin :D…

I'd say stick with basic modeling so you get the proportions and polyflow right first. Remember to use reference images in the viewport as you model, that way you will get the proportions right.
