Agreed with everything that was said so far. One reason for the grass being so high contrast seems to be that the tufts are mostly unlit. Maybe a translucent/transparent shader that can't receive shadows or needs some serious dialing in? Either way, it's a major problem that needs solving. There doesn't seem to be much of…
In my opinion, does it really matter?! I mean, if you've effectively communicated an intent i.e. describing a particular workflow or method of doing things... Personally as a hard surface modeler, I'd occasionally flip between using 'control and support loop' when offering modeling advice which the former mostly comes from…
Hey, nice catch! I was having that problem with the front door and spent awhile fiddling with it, but I somehow completely missed the side door. I fixed the problem by fiddling with the lighting settings for Eevee. Getting some light to shine through the window was definitely on my agenda, and I'm hoping that the…

So that I can try and tell a story. This document is to help me keep track, and have all the list of features I hope that can make it into…
water is (believe it or not) largely transparent and is really only defined by it's specular response. This means that in reality you can't see it when you're looking directly at the surface because light simply doesn't bounce off it in the right way. generally speaking for puddles I've darkened the underlying basecolor a…

Yes my bad, I used the wrong english word there, not native Floating geo that is a good point, although I can paint the skew in marmoset. A highpoly with lines and such on it would compare much better also, I should definitely try that. I was to foccused on if it could even work at all due to the tangent space mismatch How…
Personal Art Test For the art test each member of the team was given a small asset to create for the environment, this was to ensure redundancy if the asset failed to meet the art test specifications. For the art test I created a small terracotta pot to house foliage in the compound and to be modular to use throughout the…
You have some good work in there but I think you're holding onto some weak pieces that might hold you back. Always flush out your older, less attractive pieces with newer ones. It's good to have volume but a bad piece can easily wipe out a lot of the gains you get from some really good pieces. Substance Designer Stuff You…
I'm just now getting back into the swing of things on forums, so forgive me if i'm bad at this whole posting thing. But... I like the feedback these guys are giving... it's good stuff for the most part. Someone may have touched on this... and a lot may not agree with me. But i noticed you're mapping everything to one…
