So you can't modify the base, but you can pose it after textures are done. Which means you'd have to sculpt/paint the creases for frowns and such while the character is in a neutral position and then pose it and hope the shapes work?
looks nice. Totally getting a Counterstrike Aztec vibe from it. I think this cyan is killing your scene a bit. I would go for something a bit more neutral. I dig the idea with the huge statues.
So I put my nose to the grind and wound up finishing it, really happy with how it turned out! You can also see it on ArtStation https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VdWae5 FInal Neon renders: More neutral lighting to better view the materials:
I don't even want to know what kind of fluid. You can use a wire parameter to each channel so that it works similar to a progressive morph. I have to do that often because game engines don't support progressive morphing.
I would really recommend sculpting in a neutral standing pose instead of posing refs, because you do not understand how the muscles connect and make the forms that way yet. It is overwhelming for starters and the asymmetry adds on to the difficulty. Take it simple, one step at a time.
I reworked lightning and composition, did the tileable texture for the ground of the portal. Here are some new renders, I'll properly texture it as soon as possible on my spare time but as I have 2 others project at the time I don't know when
I combine a lot of photos to get the most possible flat projection, paint a bit, try to neutralize light, get proper levels, match them all together between all the lights... and that's it. The rest is usual workflow for specular and such :) Grrreeen. It's called Polycount Green.
England and France will be who I'm rooting for, and any other team that play nice football. If its a neutral game, i'll sometimes go for the underdogs, but whoever deserves to win, deserves it. It can change at any time when a penalty decision (diving) becomes apparent.
kill the white background , make it neutral grey, a tad darker , and dont make the showreel be the first thing a hiring person sees, take it straight to the art you want to show , also ditch thumbnails and paste the images one after the other :) 0 clicks ;)
Yea I can see what you mean, I think if I'd made the metal more rusty it would look properly independent, right now its too neutral of a colour. Thanks for pointing that out Pixel.
