Flaagan dont give up man, shit happens. I mean I got a call from one of the best companies in my country to work for them but guess what i already was moving to UK at that time and since that time I havent been able to secure a job in any CG industry either games or full high end Vray CG stuff. Still havent given up on it. -

Yep, the 500 series will be fine and they are CUDA enabled. I have owned a Quadro and still use an ATI FirePro. While they are great cards for cg work, I really havent noticed a big enough difference between them and the Gtx 560 I own when it comes to cg work, or at least where the cost vs performance is concerned. The reason I suggest the shader route is that it bypasses the normal rendered for the objects with the shader applied and uses a cg or hlsl shader compiled on import that the gpus will read correctly, rather than allowing Maya to try and translate it's shaders into more gpu compatible instructions n High quality mode used… -
