I think they only show up when the base level has a sharp enough angle between two polypons. If it's too low (under 60degrees maybe?) then it wont show up. Pull a vertex high enough with the move brush so that the angle becomes sharper and they will begin to appear.
@Equanim a mid range i7 with a gtx660 or better and 8gb or better, is still specs wise Superior to the ps4 and xboxOne. It has always been this way, where PC's lead the way as far as tech, since there not tied down in the same ways and individual components can be upgraded as they come out. Also to mention that console…
Before you go and take a big risk, I have to ask whether or not you know that in order to import and export characters from iClone 6 into other programs, you need 3DXchange Pipeline, which on it's own costs over $400, $600 if you take into account iClone 6 Pro, then whatever additional money it will cost to buy expansions…
i am have been quite skeptic too but... I recently got the AMD Firepro W7000 mainly because i needed a fast gpu that is certified by autodesk for mudbox and at the same time runs dx11 games pretty well. i took a risk, and to my surprise it is doing both of them very well so far. i can now sculpt in mudbox with 60mil+…

Bullpup carbine assault rifle, firing 5.56 effective up to 600 meters. Featuring a custom reflex scope, flat trigger assembly and purpose built forgrip with laser…
I've owned or do own a good majority of the M43 prime lenses, heres a quick recap: Samyang 7.5mm fisheye lens, haven't owned (but have owned 8mm 3.5 in Canon mount) very good lens, super wide fisheye effect isn't really general purpose though. Very small and inexpensive($200-ish?) Olympus 12mm 2.0 - Currently own, lovely…
I was talking about using the GTX 780 or a sli of GTXs just for rendering. EVGA may have a nice warranty, like other builders, but you'll suffer the nuisance and dissapointment of having burned cards and all the whole replacement. We can use CUDA for some renderings, but just that. If you are going to use the gpu almost…
