Strangely enough i couldn't figure this out until i started typing another question. Then i read my question back and was like 'oh... true'. Anyway, it works and it looks cool. Something i don't understand is how the armour mask automatically applies itself to the 1st uv channel where the gradient is connected to the 2nd?…
Just at first glance, your body is way too small. Astartes physique is all about bulk. What you've got is more like a regular human in a suit of power armour. The overall shape of the armor doesn't look too bad, it's a little flat though. Give it some more size on the green axis (x? I can't really tell)and the…
I think start be removing the armor on her legs. Its way to much. Think more like this. Uncover her face. Have it so that the armor covers only half or her arm and is fabric on the under sides. Have the chest and hip armor as two seprate chunke, so remove that scaled armor going don to her crotch.
I think it's looking great! I know the armor and clothing are very early in sculpt, but I would try and get the armor pieces to match each other a bit more specifically the leg armor matching up with the shoulders. I think it would be even more of a bonus to get the sleeve and skirt embroidery to echo the armor designs in…
Hello everyone I've just been working on a new project which i have not so long a go started. I have started on his body and so far I have made a base mesh in 3ds Max and sculpted in Zbrush but something just doesn't seem right to me i haven't really bothered much with his head as i jus done that as a base to start off the…
I fuckin' love cloth armor and this looks really solid. Suggestions: * Get a detail normal map on the clothes. Everything looks super smooth up close right now. * I find it weird that he's not wearing shoes or some other sort of foot gear. Maybe give him some toeless shoes kind of like how his gloves are fingerless? *…
Interesting post fsnake. Are you planning more focus on the Armor or on the woman? Tattoo is a nice touch but I would also consider that as she has armor on her head and neck it would also protect her spine. So if you did make the armor down her back I would change up tattoos to move around her armor. Great peace I like…
I never insinuated that these things never happened, just that it was not common. I chose the hood in Assassins Creed because of the context of this thread, it's one of the best examples of a thing that is hugely impractical in a fight but adds a *LOT* to the games mood. The question of this thread was does practicality…
