The only reason I got it down to $1000 was to squeeze the ACER XB270HU $800 in there :P If you didn't want to spend that much on a monitor, I'd really suggest looking at 2 of the Korean pannels, and upgrading the ram and storage.
My cage script has been updated and included into the Vertex Normal Toolkit. It can't do a per-vertex distance, only direction. But we're hoping that next major version (801) has proper cage baking and such.
how about getting some of these http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/input/008/usbfootswitch_detail.html Bad luck breaking you hand. Every time I've done it it's not stopped me from typing, must be really frustrating.
Good morning folks, anybody has any comments ? Ok, so it is a screen from the baskets with spices and carpets.:) I just optimized these pieces. From +- 800 to +- 500. Now next piece. :) Good day to all.

They messed up vertex snapping in 901 as it was flawless in 801. Anyway here is a script I wrote for snapping the center to any selected vert. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hknbo7o71xrcd4u/Set_Center_2_Vert.zip?dl=0 Just select a vert and run the script :poly121: cheers
