Done this as a side project to practice my hard surface modelling skills and also to try out both Quixel and Marmoset. The whole concept started with a quick doodle I made in Max. Feedback is always welcome:) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/QR9Zl
I know PBR texturing in photoshop, but there's a job position which requires artists to also have skills to create photorealistic textures in photoshop. Can someone please tell me what are those skills I should practice ?
Hello everyone! This is my first post on this page! I leave here a work I have done to practice with zbrush and its render. I've been in this world for a little over a year. Critics are welcome !!! model https://www.artstation.com/artist/galani
Hello everyone I was trying to create a sword design that had some fancy decorative stuff, but still ended up being potentially practical. And this is the result textures are 2048x2048- diff, normal, spec/gloss Any critique would be greatly appreciated
Wanted to practice hard surface techniques in ZBrush so thought I'd have a go making some of the shields in this concept art piece: Starting simple with the second from the left, top row. Pretty much finished with the basic form and will be moving on to detailing.
Here is my rough concept: I want to practice PBR texturing and I'll try to use Substance Designer and Substance Painter only. I used SD before, but now I decided to try Painter too.
Hey everyone, created this prop for the noob challenge last month and didn't get a single critique. I really want to know if I'm ready to start a portfolio or if I should practice some more. Any advice would be appreciated.
Looking good so far, the rest comes with practice. Something easy to do for the lava is take a soft brush and add orange glow on the rocks where they meet the lava.
yeah, i suppose i should've done that to give it some character, but it's really just something i made to practice texturing something. thanks for the suggestion, though, MegaMoogie! :)
