Here's a matte painting that was created for my Digital Design Aesthetics class. We were tasked with designing and illustrating an environment using Photoshop CC. I focused my efforts on composition, narrative elements, and accurate lighting. Critiques are welcomed and definitely encouraged! Thanks for checking it out.
Thank you for the useful links, but excuse me my question wasn't precise, i was talking about standard Japanese anime and manga look/proportions especially for the head. something like "Genshin Impact" game characters.
@Quasar - Hey man thanks! well these guys are pretty smooth actually, they dont have a rough wood plank kind of feeling with a bumps on the wood grain. Or you were talking about different things?

Well I think at the end of semester 1 we are tasked with improving it or adding to the project, so if my animations are in a decent shape I can possibly add them to the engine. Thanks for the help Rmunday
@TheIceWolves Thank you for the feedback! Do you tink the whole model is too monochromatic or just two hues of the feathers? I won't do any fancy animation, but I'll tweak it for sure :p
Awesome thanks for the reply's. I got the error kurt talked about when i relaxed the faces in UV editor so i will use this from now for my more circular objects x)
