JI styles is great. it's really simple to use too. http://www.jistyles.com/main.php?id=doc&page=hlsl grab it....read the "read me" file. load up the textures provided. then reload w/your own. should work. -

Have you tried saving your render settings before GoZ, then reloading them after GoZ? I'm using saved render settings here with V-Ray and it works great, loads everything back in. I'm not using with with GoZ though, just across multiple Max files. -

mr cash , the gun is nicely executed, clean modeling etc, the only thing that strikes me as odd is the over detailed look of it, there are no eye resting areas on it and everything has a somesort of distracting detail , also i cant see how it would be possible to reload that . Great job nontheless ! -

On the gun reload, the slide locks back on a 1911 when the mag is empty. I know you probably did it the way you did so you can get that nice rack and lock at the end, but, it's something nit-picky I noticed :P Rest looks pretty nice. -
Re: How long does it take to see your work in game?
I used gamebryo for a while. We had it setup so that you could simply export the NIF file and then type in a command in the game to reload the content. It worked nearly instantly. It's not so bad if you set it up right. I currently use unreal. Different strokes etc :) -
MOK-177 Character for PBR.
Hello to all of you. Recently I start working on this character that I call MOK-177. The idea behind is that 4 arm character crawling on the fat dude and reloads his gun. I will pose them later. Any feedback and critics is appreciated and welcome ! -
[Maya] Xgen not saving more than 3 descriptions
I'm having an issue where every time I create a 4th description the description is not saved when I exit Maya and reload it. I have created multiple files and restarted 3 times but the same issue keeps coming back. Any help would be greatly appreciated -
Marmoset baker resets the paint offset
I was wondering if this is working as usual or an issue on my end. Every time I reload my baking scene my paint offset for the cage is reset and I have to redo it. I haven't changed the low poly model just updated the high poly which gets reimported with the quick loader. -

If I ever have interface problems I just go to 'Customize' and 'Custom UI and default switcher' and revert to the default UI, make sure that beforehand you save any preferences out and shortcuts etc, you'll then have to reload them
