You definitely need switcher. I'm using max for 7 months again and still think its navigation system is braindamaged. Switcher solves that. -

A big part of it was also 100,000 or so people on the streets watching the game. The transit system was packed and not everyone could make it out of downtown easily -

I second what patrick said, it reminds me of oblivion, but if you want to mess around with better lighting system UDK is the way to go. -

You should check decal system than and vertex paint shaters, it would be much better instead of having 2 same textures but with variations. -

Holy smokes, character customization that lets you alter verts in real time? That is definitely the most extensive system I've seen so far. -

ZBrush will have a new fur/fiber system next month, but for now method 2 would probably be the easiest (and more time-tested) method. -

Ive read a little about the CAT system, is it pretty simple/fast to learn and do ...if we take in consideration that ive never rigged anything? -

sure, i'll add a rail system and a fore grip but im trying to keep the polys under 2000. It's supposed to be a gun from the near future. -

I was going to mention the Generator system. I hope that pans out, but I have heard a while back that it was poorly documented and not all that developed. -

I'm no carriage expert, but don't they usually have bigger wheels in the rear? think that would look cool with some drive system with belts and whatnot.
