Yer i had an example of just a much more basic mesh, with just square fingers etc but the link was to a dropbox so it didn't work. Basically that mesh with 20% of the detail is the 2nd way :) (at least for me, those are the 2 ways i do it.. others probably do it in other ways like Zspheres from the get go etc)
Very cool, and very clean! Good job. Beware of seams. Examples: the front to back blue transition (back of shoulders) on the vest of the 1st character. Inner thigh of leg and neck to chest of the 2nd. It is these small things that stand out. Otherwise, keep it up, post more, and I'm sure the regular character artists here…
Hmm, do you have a built in VGA card in the mobo? If so you might want to disable that if possible. 2nd, have you already gone into your display properties->settings tab and checkbox'ed the "Extend my windows desktop to this monitor" ? Can't help you much after that cause I'm using a Radeon Card for my Dual monitors.
Might not be useless. cryrid set his XSI bump mode to Vector (2nd red arrow). But The 5 advocated disabling the Vector argument from the Max shader. Jeff Patton didn't disable vector, though maybe that only works with mr shaders, or maybe Max has changed this since 2007 when he posted his tip.
Simple answer... Stack shelves or work in a potentially awesome game studio? If it goes wrong you can gaurantee you would of learned something from the job. Granted ive only ever had 2 interviews, my 1st 1 was really really awkward and cold and felt like torture the 2nd was amazing and wasnt really an interview ;D.
She was ACTUALLY pregnant with triplets. She lost one at 9 or 10 weeks. They did the c-section this week as the 2nd one died. Her saving grace as far as I'm concerned is she IS educated, and does have a good job as a professor. She's not some crazy welfare crack addict woman exercising her 'god given right to be a mom'.
Nice photos, few crits tho: 2nd from the top - you should have fit the whole bird on the picture. Same goes for the 4th from the bottom. It feels pointless to not show like 5% of the bird and gives the pic somewhat rushed and "i dont care" kind of feel. And the white parrot could be little bit more in center.
