      you should try something like this where you remove a lot of the collar joints and stuff and then have cloth attach to it and have it go under his suit

      here is what I have been able to do so far, reworked a lot to get the right body proportions working on a couple different ideas for clothes

      Hey chamachine, do you know where one might be able to find a database of clothing patterns? As far as I perused, this is a well made tutorial set. :)

      Mark's crits are spot on. I'll add that the cloth is way too tight, sure you want some anatomy to show trough, but the abs area is too extreme.

      I had a creative blockage when designing one of the machines. So i said F it, and threw a dirty piece of cloth over it - done. Rendered with Eevee.

      So i downloaded the character creator for the first time and put some clothes on that naked human , gave it some abs cuz it should be somekind of badass, and exported it.
