Eyes seem like they could use better texturing, and the skins seems too hand painted for a realistic texture. Try using some photo reference with this character. Just take some more time on focusing on the color map and good luck.
You can make them smaller if you like, but bear in mind that the physics engine probably expects realistic sizes... so things like gravity might act strangely if you don't make them to scale (gravity doesn't scale).
Have a look at this concept by Steven Stahlberg, might give you some ideas, he's also got some 3D render WIPs further down: link Are you going for stylised or realistic? Because the proportions seem a little off atm.
i want the quality like the movies or as close as realistic as I can. I will look up particle generators and see if I can use that. Thank you for the feedback S1dk and jRocket. I do appreciate it. More feedback would be awesome.
Is this in anyway an FPS spinoff or RAD Soldiers? I can't help but notice the similarities in the logo and general character design. While this obviously more realistic in visuals, the characters seem to have the same wide-with-detail in the hips design as well as overall variety.
It sounds to me that as a realistic 3D enviroment artist, the best course of action as well as the most effective use of my time would not be found in the traditional mediums. I should no longer persue it. Does that sound correct? i just want to clarify.
@Luge I like having the ceiling fog there to not only exaggerate the distance but also help provide definition for the large silhouette shapes that are placed up there. I don't know if its too realistic, but to me it looks way better than without ^^
looks cool, but overall it's really glossy. Are you going for realistic? because i would try to break up the specs a bit more. Where you have scratches should way more matted. Same goes for dust and other stuff.
@BradMyers82 Thank you! I am trying to do more realistic sculpting of humans though, except for that head as it was an assignment (glad you like it). But damn, creating real-life looking sculpts is hard, any thought on the latest head sculpt?
Great work so far! One thing I'm noticing are the baseboard and crown moulding profiles. Were they created from a reference? They seem a bit clunky and unrealistic. Check out this site for some clean/realistic profiles: http://www.libertywoodproducts.net/moulding/
