Hi guys, I am working on some materials to get the basics of it down before I move onto more complicated stuff. So please, bring on the crits. Renders done in UDK. Most Recent. Images link to full size. Thanks so much guys, Benton
Hey guys, Whenever I import a custom texture that has either low saturation or is very dark, I get what I can only describe as image noise, like when you take a digital photo. The noise doesn't show up in either the texture preview within CryEngine or when I open it back up in Photoshop, so I'm assuming the exporter is…
Hi, I'm rigging a character and trying to mirror the skinning from the left bones to the right bones. It's not working for the legs. What it ends up doing is binding the right vertices to the Left leg. If you look in the image, you'll see that the legs'envelopes are in red.

Could you elaborate on the first image, specifically from step 2 to step 3? It looks like a rounded shape created with a bevel tool, but the gunstock seems to have different curvatures at the front and back — the curvature is larger at the rear and smaller at the front. I'm not sure which command to use for this, or is…
