I don't know, since I was born - the US was never nuked by Russia and Japan didn't become the new world super power so I tend to err on the side that we as humans are horrible at predicting the future.
The edge wear is absolutely amazing! It really gives the tank that cold metal feel. It also really shows the power of a PBR texture set up. Do you have any tips on adding edge wear like that?
Yeah rogelio I want to see more Substance stuff on Polycount. Seems like all people use is dDo, while this is much more powerful and interesting. I'll start posting some stuff soon too!
Loved the window sliders part. Funny how all these things are somehow doable in our current day in Sketchup (the draw outline - extrude shape part), but not even close to be found in the most powerful apps! Nerd out!
Here is the final picture! :) only changed a couple small things from the last update. I was hoping to show when he begins to become a creature of magic and is using his badass powers. Hope everyone likes it!
Just make a non-square power of two texture. 1024x256 works just as well as a square texture like 512x512, even for Unity. This will allow you to use much more of the texture space, as well as minimizing stretching.
That surfer girl ass is rockin'... I'm just gonna throw it out there. That is one cool character. Donatello is coming on great as well but I'd love to see some thicker thighs on him for extra butt kicking power!
Definitely grind on your own if you are really serious and have the will power, school imo was a waste of money for me, i have learnt more on YouTube and other tutorials more than i ever did in university.

I like the polycount symbol on the sewer cover haha. Looks great man; alittle more towards photo realism then I see in the other submissions, but if thats what you want to do then power to ya! :D
