Technically I don´t think I can explain it :) But I know that the Color id system is currently not equipped to handle transparency, so some errors may occur! Happy that you got it working :)
update on the unwrap of the top half of the model, some wasted space, ill try and make it more efficient just noticed an pretty stupid error in the middle major overlapping :/ my bad will fix in the next update
Hi, overall nice model. I did notice a bake error in the triangles on the buttstock. The texture is kind of boring and could use some love, for reference look at work like this https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Pkl93
Great solution Toolzor, yeah inside Lazy save there's the word lazy haha. At least those users errors + your dedication are improving the tool. The name you found for the differents modes are really simple and good.
I have a similar setup and I just bought a pair of ram(2x512mb Kingston hyperx pc3200) to avoid the memory errors I was getting in Silo. That did the job though there's very little performance improvement.
I have the same problem as chaosquack. the mesh comes in corrupt. turbosmoothing it results in a load of smoothing errors. Quick fix for me was to import it. then export it back and re import. dont know why that worked but it did.
Looks like you need to play with your smoothing groups a bit more, seems like there are a few smoothing errors. Also, i would look into mirroring some of those bits that are identical on both sides.
I were refering to the circled area here. Due to the harsh edge of the shadow I assumed it'd be a smoothing-error. If that's also in the AO, then you might just want to smooth that part out a bit. Cheers
Anyone else not get a conformation email from charlieoscardelta? I'm getting an error every time I try to send another one, and no confirmation no beta from what I can see. For fuck sake
scince mud2010 tris are no problem anymore... the wireframe sometimes freaks out... but the mesh itself is fine... mud dont like single vertices on the sym axis...! in mud 2011 you will get an error message.. [/url]
