Hello! I am trying to rig a headless spineless creature in Motionbuilder. The body is the creature's head. Unsurprisingly perhaps, I end up with a Character Definition Error demanding that I map a Spine and a Head joint. Is there any convenient way to get around this? Thanks!
Hi, Can someone give me some hints on what typically causes a cloth simulation to fail with the over-stretching error? I have already reduced the polygons quite a bit - could it be the number of collision objects? Something else to consider?
A low poly castle! What I already know: Tiling error on the middle tower, and inconsistent size of the bricks. Both these are because I was reluctant to giving the stone wall more space on the texture sheet. What else can your elven eyes see?
Hey y'all, A bit of an unrelated question, but do any of you know what could be causing these shading errors in mental ray? The scene just has one directional light. Any tips would be amazing, its been troubling me for a couple days now. Thanks!
Hello, Maybe someone also had this problem, and could help to fix it? The cage is going into mesh causing baking errors. I have tried playing around with min/max offset values and painting, but did not have any success. I hope the image is clear enough.

Added more variation to underside of walkway segments (removing sections, adding bars and panels) and already it feels more industrial and 'put together'. Fixed the random mesh script error: change by specified tag was missing.
Looks solid so far, the texture is pretty bare bone tho. Also try making the rubber more matte in gloss. You have a huge pinching error on the handguard on the front there Which game is it gonna be ?
this was one of the best* improvements in 2010, especially as it came as a surprise while working on uvs unsuspectingly. i expect it can be chalked in as user error, but im sure i lost some work. bah humbug. :) *obviously not
