Right did a few more corrections, someone noted to me that the handguard had to much separation between each other! If there are no more obvious issues then I shall proceed to lp this! Now I think of it, I think the back of the stock needs a little bit more accuracy before I continue. -

The vaulted ceiling should have a smooth, continuous curve, at least until the break for the central dome. At the moment, you have breaks above the arched windows, easily noticed by following the beams between each window. Also, the polygon arrangement in this area seems a bit forced; that might be a problem as you… -

That interior is amazing, when I recently modelled my Viper, the interior was by far the hardest bit. Probably because I built the outside first with no concern for what went inside, but y'know... ;] It might be a drift specific thing but the wheels look a bit... bulbous. Feel free to continue blowing my mind! -

I actually used a dirty hack! I took the Dripping Rust mask generator and plugged a grunge map as a curvature and a random splat of gradients as my position map. It gives me dirt spots with some directionality to them, I then warp them a little bit to break the patterns continuity and voila :) -

I had already planned on completing an interactive ship interior in UDK within this year. I think that'll probably be my starting point for this. If I can complete that to my satisfaction then I'll continue onward. I'll be posting about that, and I expect you all here on polycount to hold me to it. -

It also depends on where you're working. Naughty Dog for instance may create most of their textures from zbrush/high poly models and use minimal photosourcing while Sledgehammer (COD) might do the opposite, and Blizzard will almost certainly continue to use hand painted textures until the end of time. -

Hey guys! Thanks for the kind words ;] I'm continuing on with the last one. The other one is also in progress, but with real paints, so it'll move slower. I'll show it when/if it gets ready. But here's the spooky forest before I go too crazy into painting. Any feedback much welcomed! -

Other than what you see on my channel, I have no experience with orchestration at all, and only a little with composition. I took piano lessons when I was young, and continued to play the piano well into my adult life, and listened to lots of movie soundtracks and classical music growing up. -

Hey Texelion, you are right, PBR is mostly used in games - not rendering... I hadn't really thought about that simple fact, so I will start looking more into mental ray shaders. I was making some progress with Mila shaders the other day, so I'll continue along that route! -
