I agree with Chillydog12345 andJorvid, and I would also say that you should add variation through use of light color, as well as darkening the scene. Try using less normal information and push your texture sizes and add more subtle color variation to the textures. It looks good for a 3dsMax\Maya render :)
Looking cool! I definitely recommend adding more paint chips and scratches also visible drip effects in the specularity, those will ground it in the real world more. Also the edges and bolts would have a distinct difference from the weathering it receives as well as chips and rust. Think about where it would be too, a…
It's very nice looking already! Couple of thoughts: I think you're overdoing the posters, it seems to be a rarely visited alley, why are there so many posters hanging on the walls here where no passerby would see them? If you're going to stick with the number of posters, maybe go for a layered effect of tons of old posters…
chrisradsby Wow, thank you, I really appreciate. Your paintover looks nice, and I will try to make my scene look nice as well :) Chillydog12345 Thank you, I will try this.
thx Chillydog12345! small update with some new grass and lighting tweaks (think i'm gonna do a daytime version too). Tomorrow I'm gonna make a couple more vines , make a vine decal to place on rocks, and place 2 more plants that I made tonight.
Thanks for the quick responses :) Well the axe suppose to look old but not very used, more like neglected but ready to kill (the lines are markings after sharpening of the blade) that's the reference image that i was given so i tried to stay close to this and yes Chillydog12345 i noticed that as well. Here is yet another…

I thought it was to the point, You guys are reading to far into it. If all you have is art in a game engine doing nothing, that's not a game that's art. If all you have is cubes moving around but nothing designed out. That's a prototype (and a bit closer, but still not a game) If you have something with a little of…
I did a couple more hours work today, about another 3/4 hours and the model will be ready for UV unwrap and substance. The cage/Low res mesh is sitting around 9k Tri's. I think I could get it down to a little bit less than that but as it's a personal project for a bit of chillaxing I'm gonna push ahead without worrying too…
