Filter forge has a cool Loop node that allows to make a "Slope blur" doing it not only 32 layers/samples/iterations max but whatever you want with just one node , not a stairs you have to make manually? Do somebody know a way to recreate this ?
I am looking to hire an artist who can produce a realistic outdoors scene with our engine. The technology will support it, but I find there is some magic artists have in composing a good outdoors scene, that is more than just throwing a bunch of models onto a terrain. I'm looking for the highest quality that will run on…
Don't know if there's a way to slide things to match an axis if you have an off angle edge? For example, I want to align this loop on a sloping section to the y-axis of the perpendicular box, however it snaps a few units off. Am using the following snap controls This is for a project where I'm taking old BSP level geometry…
Hi Guys I would like to know if there is any way to insert loops or edges into an already baked mesh without creating artifacts or drastic changes in normal? Thx!!! BugSeeker.
There is no straightforward looping in designer. Its disabled so that idiot users don't provoke infinite loops and explode their GPU. You have three options. Work out a way to reduce the node count - pack 2-4 iterations into a node and repeat that. You can quickly reach 32 like that Or Use automation toolkit to generate…
Hey, Polycount virgin here. Would just like feedback on my loops. I am pretty sure that the distribution of my polygons is too much based upon my perception of the body-shapes, and should be more evenly distributed. Also, I assume the slight spiraling I have from the torso side to the front of the legs is BAD, right?…
Hi guys, I’m planning to level up my game environment art skills and I’m looking for mentorship from an experienced artist (preferably with AAA or strong production experience). This will be a paid mentorship. If you offer this or can recommend someone, please share details. Thanks!
Hi! I think it looks cool :+1: Points I think could be improved further: * I agree with Noren that materials all read very matte and some variation in reflectivity would be nice. * Boxes look too repeated in my opinion and their construction is a bit cartoony/ simple. Could create a set of variants, constructed slightly…
