The funny thing is that I find indie games to be underpriced when they're in the $10 price range. I think 20-40$ is a great price range for almost any game, with 5-20$ for short games (like limbo).
There was a 20/20 special on photoretouching everyday items and foods such as turkeys and ham and even before and after shots for cleaning agents. The goal is always "stretch the truth, but not so much that it breaks". Vague captions and fine print only help that idea further.
Don't waste your time on this crap. I bought it, and it stuttered at low settings on an 8800gts. Mind you I can play Crysis on Very High around 35fps. I patched it and the stuttering got better, but it's still there. It takes 10 seconds to open the inventory screen, and when walking into a new area you can see blank models…
The main one being: If I stand 20 paces from you, and point my lightsaber at your face, it means "let's go, sucka!" If I stand 20 paces from you, and point one of these at your face, you're going to the hospital.
Hey, I'm making a character in Zbrush from a base mesh I made in 3ds Max. The base mesh had fairly good topology and flow as I modelled it after references of humanoid wireframes. I've divided it many times and it's now at about 20 million polygons since wrinkles etc. demanded it. In order to do this, I had to split it…
I've been having problems rendering out a matinee camera. It's incredibly slow, slugging through at about 1 frame per 20 seconds even though in editor runs at about 20 fps with everything at Epic, and also the textures look blurry. I've activated "disable texture streaming" in create movie options to no avail.
this is pretty awesome... i can imagine people making tileable floor/wall assets etc. and selling them for $20 each... small price to charge in a way, but when 20 people buy it (let's face it, not at all unlikely a figure) you've made $280.
Yes, I should have done more from the start, I suppose. 20 on 20 like you suggested. What I can do now, though, is mix up the meshes, put some decals, some vertex painting and some vines.
