Ta pior http://area.autodesk.com/downloads/plugins/the%20area/070726_222350_bonusTools85_update1.zip It works, but not as good as max.. doesn't allow you to extend uvs outside of a UV shell, and you have to apply the preserve uv's function again if the topology is changed. But yeah, a step in the right direction!
gmatch allows you to use wildcards to do a partial string match - like you would do in maya's 'select by name' function http://download.autodesk.com/us/maya/2009help/Commands/gmatch.html So the way I've used gmatch it matches with lightmap1 or lightmap2 or lightmap365
I don't know if you are going for realism on the pistol, but as it is right now it wouldn't function. Those 2 top tabs on the magazine would have to go. The top edge of the magazine needs to be a straight edge so the extractor can grab the cartridge and slide it out of the magazine.
[ QUOTE ] What is traps? [/ QUOTE ] Trapezius muscle, functions to pull the shoulder (and the entire arm) up and toward the back. If you swim butterfly or free style you use this muscle alot. Visually it gives the appearance of a gradual slope from the middle of the neck to the pivot of the shoulders.
Sounds like a bug... sounds like you just needs to restart the app or something, I've had some strange bugs with CS4... There's not much trickery with the snap to grid function... Check if the workspaces has anything to do with the bug, Window > Workspace. Try the default one.
Hawken that's not the new mouse I was talking about. http://www.apple.com/magicmouse/ that's what I meant, infinite click zone possibilities, yet only one is implemented in Steve Jobs infinite quest to eliminate buttons and functionality. Hopefully it will be fixed/upgraded/hacked on the software end...
In 3dsmax you want to use a link constraint. It lets one object be parented to the world on one frame and other objects at other frames. You set frames and parent objects in the motion panel. In Maya its called a Parent Constraint, same functionality same purpose.
We're actually doing the same evaluation ourselves. So far FacefX takes home the gold. Really nice voice driven functionality. Everything else I've seen hits on too many syllables. I haven't used the other programs you've mentioned though.
When you say "scale" do you mean in UV space? why not add a scale node and use that to scale the noise nodes? I also find it useful to split up your graph into smaller graphs that do simple functions. This makes it easier to make new graphs without having to re-do logic.
Hey, Where I'can create bpr maps in 4r3? I would like to export my zproject subdivided in many different layers in photoshop. I remember that in the 4.0 version whe're able to split (with the create maps function in the bpr panel) the entire object from the background. Thanks a lot John
