So this is a screenshot from the third sport we have now! It's Pillow push! :D It's the first sport were players can face off against each other. It functions like a really simple fighting game. You can move your character left and right. One button for punch and one button for parry. Each round is 10 seconds and you…
Oh hell yes. Those VS, PA and Jakiro pieces were my wallpapers for the longest time! I absolutely love art nouveau style illustrations. Drow looks great, and everything about Naga's framing so far looks good too! Specially liking the rings on her back from Song, everything flows really well with the style you're going for.…
Updates!! I've been working steadily at my model and reviewing techniques that I've seen circulating around on youtube and on here. I've begun to add small details to my model I've added some detail to the skull and horns to start reflecting the concept more closely. As well as minor details on the key ring and keys. There…
The sticker is probably one of those things even tho the manufacturer and users know what's it for, it still needs to have "choking hazard not suitable for the age 0-3" :D But seriously good job, if i have to nitpick there are a few things The ring on the pin looks smaller in the concept (any maybe thicker < this may be…
Hello all! I've been doing veeeery slow progress on this. As with any big project, I have my phases of high and low productivity, or there's just other things to do with my free time. But I've been managing to keep this project alive :) So this is my most recent progress, I still have some modeling to be done on the…
Just so you know how to do this, since Crease+ isn't something you'll always want to use. You can select that ring of faces and bevel (click a face, then shift double click an adjacent face). Another nice thing to know is converting faces to border edges (ctrl+rmb north > to edge perimiter). I typically use that to get…
Are you planning on doing a sculpting pass? This model is missing features from your reference. If they are going to be baked into a normal map, then they don't need to be modeled at this stage, but you mentioned unwrapping and texturing. Also, you could collapse some edges (if this is going to be your low poly). You don't…
You left out unwrapping it to a ribbon - like the first image but with all the vertical seams welded, so you get a strip - this has distortion issues but is the easiest to paint. There is no easy-to-paint, distortionless option - I would never use your first, but I bounce between the ribbon method, the flat project method…
Die hard Steelers fan so I'm going with my curtain. I sit right next to a die hard Packers fan at work though so it'll be a fun bowl. If I had to pick an NFC team it would be the Packers though, I've always liked them since I was a kid. It'd be great to see Rodgers get a ring, but not against my Steelers. Although the…
Apparently Max 7 has a way to project UVs from one mesh to another. I haven't tried it yet though. Barring that, best bet IMO is to use Editable Poly and remove edge loops (or rings) manually. Should preserve the UVs. MultiRes tended to chew up the topology for me, making the lower LODs not nice to deform... edges tended…
