This is something max struggles with. Sorting opacity maps especially if they are stacked takes forever the more transparent pixels there are on the screen the more sorting it has to do. It's always faster to do it with geometry rather than opacity maps or reduce the number of trans parent pixels by cropping the geometry… -

I got sucked into Mafia Wars and play it daily. I also got sucked into playing MOBSTERS, which is a shameless Mafia Wars clone mixed in with Tower Defense style missions. I suck though, because I'm not adding random strangers, or people I only know online to my facebook page, and that's what the game requires you to do to… -

This game looks great, apart from the little 'Max Payne 3' title in the lower corner. If it said 'Uncharted: Vlad's Rampage' it'd be more understandable. The guy doesn't look like Max, we've lost the dirty noir NY underground in favor of technicolor jungle, mobsters have become generic ethnic terrorists... I don't know… -

Just wanted to share a Mobster bust that I started yesterday, and worked on a little bit over lunch (about 4 hrs in). I still plan on playing with this a bit, to try to get the profile and front working better, as the side is more realistic than I wanted. Yup as justin has said, it's one of those things where you should be able to parody, under the wording of the law but you can't because of fat cat bullies with judges and lawyers and mobsters with the tiny bats and hammers that break your fingers, understand the reality of the world you are living in and be careful to act… -

Looks great for your first time. There is just something about the nose edgeloops that look crowded to me. The ear is a little too boxy as well, but other than that it is a great start.
