Anyone know any tech artists from Luxoflux? We've got a viral error that appears to be related to a missing DLL from them that I'm trying to clear up. Basically outlined here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=868783
This is a pirate ship storage environment I'm working on for my portfolio. There are still texture errors here and there and the lighting is questionable, but it's coming along. This is my first real post here on Polycount so apologies if anything came out wrong.
I did a simple test on a table to see if I could bake properly, since I am pretty new to it. I came up with this: Im not sure if it is a good bake or not because there are some shading errors, maybe someone can help me?
Hi, I downloaded the zip but when you try to open the sbs file on Substance designer it give an error that says: "The following dependency could not be loaded: ....DS_Edge_Detect.sbs thanks for your help
Maybe I didnt understand the post. I separate into texture sets due to juxtapositioning of the surface, just to ensure a bake without errors. It doesnt have anything to do with subject or type.
Been a while between updates but currently I am not digging the direction this is going. Lots of silly errors and texturing isn't coherent. Going to be scrapping the textures and reworking some parts of the models.
Can you share any more info? Do you get an error message? Is there anything printed in the Listener? What exact steps do you do to start a render? etc.
Some updates: - worked on the face topology, hope its better now - added some AO (there can be errors on it, just a quick bake) I will start to texture now...thx for replies..
Could be an error with the .vmt name or you're not defining $bumpmap inside your material. I've had that happen before. And like Racer said, the tools are broken. Try using the 2009, or the 2007?
