XnView is great, I really like it, like I did once when ACDSee was actually good. Something thats great about it is that you can add plugins/addons to it, so maybe if you look for that, it might help your problem. -

did you try exporting the model as it is. those look like transparent meshes so it could just be a sorting error. What you can do to fix it if it is a sorting error is detach all the elements and then add them back in vertical order. -

keeps getting better :) you could retop super quickly in zbrush and then in max or whatever add the subD based edgeloops. grassetti did it with his amazing mecha girl , otherwise just project it on and play with the polish brushes like you have. -

Pod, can you explain your setup for such helper bones? Like on that pink monster. I understand the principle but never really did that. Are their actions automated? (driven by the main limb bone?) And would it be possible to add such bones to a Character Studio biped? -
Possible to remove stored UVW coordinates?
Max 2011. I am working through a tutorial by eat3D, and the project files it comes with the object is already fully unwrapped. That defeats the purpose of me purchasing this DVD. Is there a way I can removed the UVW unwrap the author already did? I tried reimporting it to a new scene and applying edit poly and collapsing. -

LONG VERSION: Yea but afaik it takes manually creating it and positioning it yourself using the shadow options (for targeted directions) then turning off the shadow directions after the lights position is set in the placement you desired. It is a bit of work i only did x,y directions and 5 lights per direction seems well… -
