Press O to open the viewport settings. One tab will have the option for wireframe opacity. Default is 10%. @FBX problems: I haven't tried modo to ue4 but I haven't had any problems with modo fbx to toolbag 2. I really dig that sculpt, but looks like it may be alitle to much polys. I suggest to look at other characters wireframe/edgeflow. And also to answear that question about how many polygons a standard character is, this may be a bit outdated, but this are some numbers from hl2 and it would still be pretty good guidelines… -

My render setup is catmull-rom with light tracer. Theres a regular skylight and 1 omni with intensity 0.5 and colour of 206, 193, 158.
