glock and cars look nice. you could try adding rim light to the gun to give it more eye candy. tile texture doesn't look very convincing to me. normal map details are so rough that it feels like plaster and dirt on spec/diffuse seems like it was taken from a concrete wall. -

Thanks! Yeah, the comments I've received have definitely helped me improve. I finally replaced my render clouds placeholder stucco/plaster texture with something real. Here it is in the scene. It's still a bit noisy I think, but after placing the other props on the walls and lighting, it probably won't even be noticeable. -

Very cool idea! Reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to cut out posters and adverts of awesome game art from loads of gaming magazines, and plaster it all over my room. Even had this masssive anaglyph Lara Croft poster, which came with its own 3D glasses! -

@ZeroCartin : thanks man Finished detailing the roof borders, the process was very tedious because of the nature of the mesh. Had to add geometry without destroying the UVs leading me to do lots of manual work. Next thing on the list is the roof top then I can move on to brick stone area and finally the plaster walls. -

Update! Everything is into Unreal Engine! More painting has been done, and am now experimenting with vertex blending wooden planks under the plaster texture. TO DO LIST (for now): Finish painting Bake AO maps + gradient for the building Make tiled wood same color as wood assets 2nd Pass on textures -

We just added 200 architecture-themed materials to Substance Source. You'll find marbles, woods, concretes, fabrics, leathers, metals, plaster, etc. Almost all of them are fully procedural, enjoy! If you think we are missing something, please let us know! -

There's just something about platformers that take place in subterranean worlds that just is always awesome. Blaster Master, Cave Story, Spelunky, etc. If you've never played it, find a copy of Spelunker from Broderbund Software on the NES. Now that is a difficult game to master. Still hating the terrain rock texture stretching..can't seem to get it right with the landscape tool, might just model it all out instead.. Getting a bit tired of the terrain so started with a rock wall texture, plaster and wood materials. Got the vertex painting working with tesselation which I'm liking so far :) -

Not exactly sure why, but your version feels kind of like a decrepit dank place while the actual place feels kind of cozy. I'm thinking it has at least something to do with the banged up duct tape benches, but I feel that the walls are also somehow messier in your version - too thick and rough plaster maybe? -

The mountains and the jugle scene's are really sharp and strong, their organic style really suits your modelling style.
