just set aside like ten minutes a day and draw. Seriously if you want to get good at anything you just have to do it everyday for a bit. eventually as you get comfortable start focusing on problem areas.
The way I see it, is an excuse to explore other forms of workflows and experiment quickly with techniques you aren't familiar with in everyday 3d. Also it's a way for people to connect together. That's one reason I think the rock thread exploded.

Ah ok I see, I was using it wrongly then, since i was using it to boost the diffuse color. Everyday is a school day, thx a bunch everyone problem solved and more knowledge acquired thankx to all of you :P
are you only doing flipbook type animations? if you are using cameras to film your animations, you could always get them to do stop motion animation on everyday objects or even animations of themselves moving around.

I would buy a place relatively inexpensive for permanent residence on the Ocean. Then, I'd surf everyday for the rest of my life. Then when out of season. Buy a world trip ticket and surf the world like the endless summer!
