I think the design and pose is great. Reminds me of the art I've seen for One Piece (haven't scene it, so this could be a character from it for all I know :P ) What it's lacking in is refinement. A good basis for your details and shapes is there, but a polish pass would really help bring out what you've got there. E.g.… -
