It is impossible because if someone buys a game used for $25 and a new version cost $40, you have no idea if the used version wasn't there that they would have bought it new. Just like if someone pirated your game you have no idea if they would have bought it if they couldn't have pirated the game. -

Ship cargo hold reference?
I'm going to be creating the cargo hold for a pirate ship in the next few weeks and I need some reference. There aren't enough Pirate games. Specifically Pirate Memory Games, Ages 4-6. I'd like a good cowboy game, and I'd like to play any of the games that I designed, even Pingu. In fact, the Pingu design I worked on was probably the most "fun" design I've been involved with. -

No, won't be modular at all. Because the game is basically pirate warfare, the only things which exist are player models, weapons, and the ships.
