Ship cargo hold reference?

I'm going to be creating the cargo hold for a pirate ship in the next few weeks and I need some reference. I've got screen grabs from the Pirates of the Caribbean series as well as some images found on Google and what not.

Can anyone direct me towards some sites that have decent photos of a ship's cargo hold? Thanks in advance.

Also check out Zelda: Wind Waker. Theres a pirate ship that you run around its hold in.

I'm not too sure how close you are to any harbors that might get some of the modern sailing ships like the Bark Europa But if you could manage to find out the names of a few you might have better luck getting ref? I know there are a few that have been turned into floating or dry docked museums which will more than likely have sites a pics?

I'll take a look around the crazy interweb and see if I can't scare some up.

OooOOo I really like this one. They have video and fairly long descriptions about the construction which might give you good insight when building?

What I've found useful of late is *very* specific flickr searches. So like Vig says find out some names of some ships and go from there. Stuff like HMS Victory (Nelsons warship), mary rose, cutty sark, galleon, old warship etc might help here. If it's a well known landmark or tourist destination, the chances are high that someone on flickr has been there and taken a bunch of pics:

Yeah, Flickr is one of my favourite resources for reference images now. Some very good photographers on there, and the sheer volume of users means there'll be something you were looking for...
