Love this movie. One of my favorite parts is the ember. It's looking really good right now but I feel like the copper might look a little too realistic a texture compared to the rest. Maybe if the brights were a bit more smudgy? I think it does need a little bit more color variation here and there to give it a more…
Saw this one in the MNC, if it gets picked you might have some company soon :) @Xsim1 makes a great point about getting the camera correct right off the bat. Even if you don't want it for the final angle it will really help during the process to keep things looking accurate. Looking ahead, I think it would be awesome if…
You might want to take a step back (literally) and look at your model. Many of your control edges seem to tight. Don't be afraid to exaggerate your bevels and insets, it will help them read better in your bakes. The cylinder on top also seems to small (in diameter) in comparison to the picture on the right. Good work…
Really like how her face is turning out, but her blush seems to be running along the underside of her cheekbones... which is kinda weird. That's a place girls tone when they put on makeup, but actual natural blushing tends to sit along the topside of the cheeks and the bridge of the nose, like this: Also, if her eyeshadow…
Awesome work Seth. :) Right now the skin seems a bit flat, maybe a bit of a softer ambient light / skin ramp would help a bit along with a more blue-ish specular? Although I'm judging this off of the close up shot, it seems like you changed a bit in the next one which is cool. :) (Also perhaps a bit of AO from the…
If it's anything like solidworks, that's basically your workflow. Slow and pedantic, sure. But that's the nature of it Fantastic stuff on the gun though. There's one or two things that kinda stick out to me. The first is that the recoil springs feel a little light. .22 isn't a hugely powerful round, but even then on a…
The image is kinda small, so it's a little hard to really get into things, but I think her right arm is too long. The muscles on her shoulder go way too far down and in combination with how her hand is turned it kinda looks like the shoulder is dislocated. :P You've got some good posing and curves going on with the legs,…
basically, to un-sugar coat Rob's words, even though they're fairly blunt already. you have a very simple decision to make. you can either respect yourself, and the work that you do. and stand up for yourself. or you can accept that them treating you like shit is the right thing to happen. there's no middle ground in…
sorry if I came across a bit brash That concept you have is pretty awesome...I definitely see how your design is flowing based on the concept, but it's definitely missing the proper adjustments I'm assuming you are going for a replica yes? So you....ergh....nm paintover inc (with mouse, don't judge how awful it is! :| ) So…
Hello Polycount once again! :poly009: My next environment piece is from the anime/manga Full Metal Alchemist, specifically the room from Episode 3 "Mother" (first anime series) where Ed and Al tried to transmute their mother back to life: Back in 2005 when I first decided I wanted to be a game artist, I went through an…
