Thats all well and good, but lets see how much of that fancy stiff actually makes it into a game engine where they can't afford to waste 60,000 polygons on the main character's moustache.
thing is, like air, fluid is very complex and it would be easier to have per pixel lighting with radiocity on a million polygon model than to realisticly calculate a bottle of water particle for particle.

Is there a certain format to export splines from? Can anyone explain how to go about doing this? Im trying to export sline objects from 1 version of Max to another, and im guessing obj formats are only for polygon objects?

I'm looking under the modify menu and the convert polygon edges to curve is not listed. Anyone know how to get it back or where it went. I've tried deleting my prefs with no luck.
Hello, I'm having this problem when I connect those edges and a weird polygon is created. Backface culling is on so you can see that the normals are fine. What is it and how can I fix it? :(
