So basically it'll be a Space Wolves Dreddy? Nice detailing so far, BTW, though the title made me think of a Warhammer Fantasy Orc attempt at a steam (or pully!) powered Dreddy. :D
All textures done in quixel suite beta. Rendered in Marmoset. Turntable is here: http://globalgallery.ru/View/Av8yRgrWKkifWfdof9UC5w/ Video: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VyoiYZ9MKc"]Orc Turn - YouTube[/ame]
omg this is killer stuff! I really like the creature design. It's far cooler and creepier from all what we've seen a thousand time like orcs, elves, zombies etc. Really inspiring!!!!
Awesome stuff Mit Gas, looking forward to you doing a total rework of the whole game!:) hehe jk But would be nice to see what you would do with a few of the orc characters. Spark
Hey Callum I particularly liked the sculpting of the orc girl very much. But why to leave it there and don't try to texture and render it with some SSS? I think it can turn out to be an impressive piece.
Kind of techie for the Oglodi (basically they are Orcs), but it looks nice. I think the collar should be changed a bit as it is hard to see in the in-game preview. Allso the back of the generator (the far right screenshot) blends in with everything.
That'd be awesome, really. It would be great to see more support to hand-painted texturing. 1.8 had a nice example with the orc, but I've always felt it was lacking in that area (as in projects with breakdowns/process videos)
Still here ^^ Need to chip in some 20 min challange soon and post. Have made alot of new animations though I did for a school rts game ^^ Lots of angry orcs xP
Here's my first entry into any 3d competition. I'll post sketches and progress of my work as I go. Just learning zbrush and Substance Painter and Designer at the moment and thought, what a great way to learn. Here goes nothing :) . The Backstory Somehow conceived between Orc and Human, this creature, without name or…
