IIRC someone made a PLY importer for Max. Might not work with Max's point cloud rendering system though? Search those formats on Scriptspot, and on Maxplugins . Max definitely supports OBJ out of the box. -

good luck not to be rude but iv'e tried this i hosted a dedicated Polycount teamspeak for a while. Most here seem to be fairly solitary aside from the irc i stopped hosting after no one had signed on for 3+ months. -

Thanks Dave. Is there a polycount IRC channel where n00b questions can be asked? I actually have to turn it off (uncheck). Also, having 2-sided or not makes no difference in the viewport when backface cull is unchecked - is it only for rendering?. -

Ok, spoke to gauss on IRC and he said I need to just draw from life: Accidently wrote eucerin.wpe instead of colours.wpe >_< This is my Baseball mitt- unfinished but it gave me some insight into blending colours within OC. -

I've gotten a 900 lb DL with a 1.2 meg upload. This was while I was uploading 2 megabytes a second on IRC and downloading something else at about 500. My fiberoptics could handle more but finding all these things to DL is tough -
