I like this scene. I notice one thing: Sofa on the left. There is a door with porthole behind the sofa. I think this is a door, because it has an arrow to show which side door opens. Sofa does not block the door on the sketch. But in your realization it does.
I'm still working on my scene, still feel like so many things to do and, with such little time to work on it, it feels like I'm still some way off; BUT as others are still working on theirs too I figured I'd post some screenshots of where I am at the moment. The pool edges: The door/pokeball area: EDIT: Added a screenshot…
so much going on and still trying to keep at this. finally get a direction I sorta like for some of the generic hallways. Finished the door as well. Working on the blueprint anim for the door now. When you open the door, the middle section slight turns to unlock the door and the two halves slide open. Still need to get a…
I really like this. The only thing that bothers me is how much light there is from the door. It looks as if there is a light next to the door that is illuminating the doorway and the staircase, but there's only a small window on the door. The lantern doesn't appear to be the item lighting the door either.
@Elzy, thanks for the advices :) + I took a look to the Door Problem with my badass blockout, and a sunlight system with octane render ... With the door wide open we're missing the other window spot ... But supposing the door is a sliding door, we can adjust the position of the light beam easily ... :)
I sort of tried that however rather than one big alpha I made a number of 'flame' alphas in photoshop; im modeling a gothic arch door and I want to create embossed flames around the edges tapering inwards. As I said the door has a gothic arch shape at the top so i'm not exactly sure how I would paint an alpha in photoshop…
Door seems a bit off in a few ways: Proportions seem askew. Door appears to be too wide. The level of grunge is consistent across the entire door, which is a bit uncanny. Presentation of the door (the lighting) is not complimenting the form. Metally bit doesnt read as well as other materials in the scene.
Hi Buzzy, Thanks for your reply. For my car idea I also want the doors to fall off (side doors, boot door and bonnet door) and inside of the car one seat for the dirver with a searing wheel (like a stunt drivers car). Could I still do this with 2000 triangles?
Currently, I am stuck at doors because they don't "fit". They are kinda too big on the inside and at the angle to fit, but then I have problems elsewhere in the interior, so it is a constant back and forth of figuring things out and trying to fix them. If they are not that big on the inside, then I have a hole here between…
Hey guys, im modeling a door off of a concept by razorb. im having a hard time figuring out how to model the door. At first i thought about just cutting on a plane but it all comes back to the circle im having issues with. Ideas? Im starting to think best way would be to spline out each side of the door then extrude it to…
