Opinions on new building new PC?
Hi everyone. I'm doing some research into upgrading my PC at the moment and was hoping I could get some opinions on the set up I've been quoted by a local PC shop. Currently I've got a Q6600 processor, 4gb DDR2 ram and a Quadro 1700 FX video card. I'm mainly wanting it all for Maya modeling and rendering, good UDK… -

thanks for the comments all and cheers for the feedback kitteh, you were right about the wheels being a bit too big. i dialed them down an inch or so I've been working a lot today on this interior, i wanna get it done before it wears me out. Re: ACER lcds?
I have the AL1916W and would give it a 5 out of 5. It is VERY bright and clear. It had one dead pixel, though (no biggie). I paid $170 US for it 2 years ago. I would recommend ACER monitors, don't know about whatever other products they have.
