I have been looking at a tutorial from Autodesk Japan and found it was using multi-cut tool with symmetry enabled. Specially starting from the symmetry edge. When I try to do it, the symmetry edge loop prevents me from starting on it (showing a disabled cursor), starting from anywhere else is fine. Has Maya changed in…
I was posting progress in the what you working on thread but decided to start a new one to get more feedback. I started this project as a way to get back into Zbrush and learn new things about high poly sculpting here is my progress so far, I haven't started on the lower half and he still needs to have a jacket added to…
Hey polycount, It has been a long time since I last posted, but I figured I should start posting some more. I started a project of an AIM sports scope, I figured it would be a project to help with some complex shapes. So far I have only started the front half, and I'm trying to get the shape correct right now. Any crits…
Hey all, I've been searching and searching and I have no idea how to make a simple 80s, 80-column/25-line LCD screen in UE4. I am new to UI/video effect shaders in Unreal and don't know where to start. Here is an example. (though it doesn't have to be EXACTLY like this, just something similar) Start at 2:50 if it doesn't…
I sometimes I really don't progress at all, like zero. When I look at people's works I can see them getting slightly and slightly better each time but when it comes to myself I don't see it at all and I'm genuinely starting to think that I'm dumb or smn. This one is my larest passion project that I no longer want to deal…
It honestly sounds like a virus. If the PC will actually start, and run, as long as you don't start/click anything, it most likely is not a hardware issue. See if you can start in safe mode. Then try Firefox. If that works, then you should find some virus and anti-malware software
Started concepting and blocking out the mech. Going to start him next week. Also adding a shot of the blockout in game for some context. Putting them in really starts bringing the scene together. All i have to do is finish the mech, the mechanical maintenance arm and then the base that they move on.
I started to have a tingling feeling in my hand but that disappeared when i started doing wrist exercises. I started with this :http://www.sportfood.nl/expand-your-hand-bands/ and after a month or so with these: http://www.sportfood.nl/grippers/ Every other day i exercise for a couple minutes with the gripper.
I would suggest you start your block out and modelling with the frame and work outwards. It is tempting to start with of starting with panels and working inwards but In my experience you will have an easier time resolving picky details about how it all fits together if you work the other way.
Hello all! some new environment art I did over the weekend Inspired by my old village environment from 2 years ago and the same inspirations from that, aka fable, WoW, etc. Been working in my spare time for a few months now after work on my own little game project using UE4. I thought it would be fun to both learn how to…
