If you're doing the UVs with the multires modifier not applied it will cause the UVs to get distorted after sculpting. I think you'd have to apply the modifier and after that do the UVs. Not sure if there is another way of doing that. Maybe someone else can enlighten us.

That's a very good example you set, it's going to come in handy. I was able to solve it "by hand" if after using scale on the objects I apply resetxform. For now I'm not using a slider, here your example is going to be very good for me to apply it, thanks.
quick question, I uvw mapped the treads on the tank to be on a separate texture map. When I import the tank into marmoset and I apply the tanks material to the tank it applies to the treads as well. Is there away to import 2 texture maps for 2 elements on a model?

@LenasTeapot Hey, I actually found a way to apply gradient with selection. 1. make your selection 2. create a new layer 3. apply the gradient in the new layer so far it works for me, tell me if it does for you as well =)
