Most of the shit that people who want to "save the environment" do is massively wasteful. Like buying stuff made locally, or organic food made on small farms. Cheap food is cheap because it uses fewer resources. want to save the planet? Eat ramen and bean burritos from Taco Bell. telecommute, or better yet, commit suicide.…
tnx for the kind words guys :) Shootandrun: the best advice i can give you is to learn the UI and features first and then start out simple. It all depends on what you want to sculpt but you should make sure that when sculpting you try to get the forms right first and keep the detail work for the very last. start lowpoly…
No ears ? Anyway, yeah, just retop it first. Decide if you want maybe 5-8k tris for this, or 10-12k tris, or whatever the range you want. Give it good deform-able joints. Mixamo also has free auto rigger that you can try/test. (for less than 10k or 12k or something. I can 't remember.)
Hi Brad, For these substances I haven't used substance painter yet. I want to use it for some specific substances, (Horror theme. Which I cant share (yet?), but I will make a separate one available for free, based on the same theme). I cant release commercial work, so ill have to make that one in my own time :) . Cheers!
That's not a valid argument anymore honestly, for example, both Max and Maya still in 2012 or 2013 don't have a global modifier panel, which allows you to globally change stuff. Example: Modifier Zorb. It's a simple yet free script that anyone who will be stacking modifiers globally will need access to, yet 4 grand…
I often thought on this a lot before, not so much anymore. Mostly because the word or idea of "fun" doesn't apply to a lot of today's experiences. For example I've just recently got to play through some of the Walking Dead by TellTale. Those games definitely aren't pure "fun" but they are for sure entertaining. Now I think…
Tyler: Just a reminder that its easy to start a new thread if you have something to say. Rather than polute another thread. I need to be reminded of this myself at times! Faerian: Just the opposite! I feel like 5 dollars could be awarded to somebody who has a clean thread. Mainly because of calling upon information later.…
I won't and can't go into an endless educated theorical rant hence I'd just like to just add my instant feelings about Wright's works. While I don't exactly believe that the end result that Wright produces is art I think that the process he gets involved in while doing it is extremely challenging and mentally fulfilling in…
Some more progress on the outfit choice and face. Still so so messy, but it's cleaner than before, and I have a clearer vision of what I want his clothing to be. I don't normally sculpt in asymmetry right off the bat, but I want to give it a try to see if it'll give a more unique, less generated look in the end!Feedback…
Hi everyone! I'm currently working on a knife model. This is my current high poly (image attached). Now, I want to create a proper low poly version for baking and texturing, but I'm not sure about the best workflow to do this in Blender. I would really appreciate any advice on: * The general approach for creating the low…
