Great stuff! I really like your materials. Speaking of materials, I feel one thing holding your portfolio back is the TV. Everything else has texturing, but the TV looks totally out of place (looks unfinished). I definitely feel you should finish it off and have the wireframe views as secondary images below your main… -

- I think you need to block in the wheel hub, break lights, wheels, etc, before adding more geo. - Don't be afraid to delete useless edges temporarily and cut them in later when trying to clean up. - I would avoid posting pictures at this stage without the wireframe. Looks interesting so far, you not going to create a high-poly for detail, or you just going to painted receses and highlights in Ps? Btw when showing a non-wireframe shot, try use a symmetry modifier instead of mirrored geometry (I'm just assuming you're using 3ds max!), I find this helps smooth the seam running down the… -

Looking closely at the wireframe it seems you merged the geometry of the armour with the body. if that is true can you tell me if there were any baking issues? i havent tried doing this yet but im starting a character sculpt within a week or two and i will most likely have to do this at some point during the retop process… -

Probably later, all we are required to do for class right now is a main diffuse. As for the geometry, it doesn't look jagged when I turn off wireframe, this is essentially a game model so I wasn't planning on adding too much. I'm not sure what you mean about the turret, could you explain a bit more what you mean? -
Re: Props from a noob to game art
It looks like you can afford to sue more tris if you're going for current-gen level assets. I mean, your first two assets are just boxes. That said, I guess I can't say that for sure until we actually see some wireframes. The optimization of your UV space is leaving a lot to be desired on the plant and box.
